A Letter from Tina
Dear Friends and Supporters,

This past year has been an extraordinary chapter in our story, made possible by compassionate people like you. Through the heartfelt efforts of Tina’s Warriors and the unwavering support of our community, we’ve brought love, light, and hope to cancer patients when they’ve needed it most.
​
This mission is deeply personal to me. I’ve walked this path not only as a cancer patient, but also as a mother, a friend, and a healthcare professional. Despite years in the medical field, nothing prepared me for the emotional and physical toll of this journey. Yet in my darkest moments, a simple gesture, a HOPE Kit™ from the National Breast Cancer Foundation that I received during treatment, brought me a glimmer of light. That small act of kindness sparked an immense realization: we all have the power to make a profound difference in someone’s life.

That was the seed from which Tina’s Warriors grew. I never wanted another woman to feel the isolation I had felt. Since our launch in May 2024, we’ve been building a community rooted in compassion and connection, standing beside patients through every stage of their fight.
​
As we move into 2026, our vision is stronger than ever. Tina’s Warriors is expanding its mission beyond direct support to drive lasting change in how cancer care is delivered. We’re working to break down barriers to equitable care, champion patient-centered policies, and bring lifesaving screening and testing, such as precision medicine and genetic testing, to the forefront. No one should face delayed diagnosis or treatment because of where they live, income, or background.
We’re also partnering with healthcare leaders to develop better patient programs and make clinical trials more accessible, ensuring innovation reaches everyone, not just a few. At the same time, we’re deepening our connection to the community. We aim to host more community education events to reach neighborhoods with lifesaving information and resources. We hope to provide free screenings and mammograms in those communities where early detection can save lives.

And while advocacy drives our future, compassion remains our foundation. We’ll continue hosting HOPE Kit™ packing events and offering hands-on support to patients and families nationwide.

Our Mission
At Tina's Warriors, we are dedicated to bridging gaps in cancer care by advocating for patient-centered solutions and addressing the often-unspoken challenges patients face. Inspired by Tina Valbh's personal journey, our mission is to empower cancer patients to navigate their treatment with dignity, strength, and hope.
